In addition to our usual monthly “ Dates for your Diary” here are some events coming up over the

next few weeks that you may wish to save the date for:-

 From 4 th September every Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon Austen’s Forever Fun

and Fitness Sessions will be taking place at the Parish Hall. Sign up at the Parish Hall

website for these free sessions.

 8 th September Pudding and Pimm’s at Broxwood Court. Enjoy the beautiful gardens and a

dip in the swimming pool, in aid of St Mary’s Church

 11 th September Pembridge Footlights kick off a new season of ballet, opera and theatre

with “ The Marriage of Figaro, followed on 18 th September with “Prima Facie”

 12 th September Pembridge History Group meet at the New Inn.

 14 th September Kington Show

 18 th -22 nd September Kington Walking Festival includes walks in Pembridge and Bearwood

 19 th September Village Art Clubs are back in Pembridge. All abilities welcome for tuition in

painting.

 21 st September Pembridge Allotment Society host a Coffee Morning at the Parish Hall

where locally grown produce will be on sale.

 26 th September Pembridge Film Nights open their Autumn season with Michael Caine’s

“ My Generation” at the New Inn.

 27 th September BINGO Night at the Parish Hall

 5 th October Pembridge RBL trip to Highclere Castle ( Downton Abbey set) World War II

talks and exhibitions.

 5 th October The Tales of Hoffman at the Parish Hall

 19 th October Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal launch at the Parish Hall Coffee Morning

 25 th October Heartstart. Training in how to use the defibrillator and other life saving

techniques. This session is fully booked but you can join a waiting list on the Parish Hall website.

 26 th October St Mary’s church, Pembridge Autumn Supper.

 23 rd November Woodcock Fayre- Crafts and Christmas Shopping at St Mary’s Church,

Pembridge

 13 th December Elvis Night at the Parish Hall with European Champion Elvis Impersonator- look out your Blue Suede Shoes!
