Save The Date

In addition to our usual monthly “Dates for your Diary”, there are some major events coming up over the next few months that you may wish to save the date for:-

- Bank Holiday 25th-27th May. Leominster Medieval Society is staging a medieval encampment on the Millenium Meadow. It’ll include demonstrations of medieval crafts, life, live music, and dancing. See the News section of www.portraitofpembridge.co.uk

- On 25th May “ A Court of Betrayal” bestselling author, Anne O’Brien talks about her latest book, Revealing the lives of Medieval Women and Writing About the Mortimers. See Upcoming Events Calendar.

- 1st-2nd June Environment Weekend at St Mary’s Church. A special service about the environment. Displays and information on local environmental projects.

- 6th June D Day the Parish Hall and several other village organizations are combining to celebrate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. See the News section of www.portraitofpembridge.co.uk.

- 5th July Evening Concert in St Mary’s Church Pembridge starring Bronwen Lewis, Tom Jones’ protégé on BBC’s The Voice” https://www.youtube.com@bronwenlewis3323

- 27th July Pembridge Village Show. After a gap since lockdown, the Village Horticultural and Produce Show is returning.

- 3rd August Strawberry Fair at St Mary’s Church, delicious strawberry teas, stalls, and competitions.

- On 24th August plans are underway for a Music Festival combining music, food, and family fun. Look out for updates on all these events on Portrait of Pembridge
