Food, Glorious Food ! - Eating in Pembridge

Good news for food lovers who are keen to keep the distance from field to fork as low as possible.

Townsend Farm Shop, East Street and Butchery has reopened. The shop will sell a wide range of meat, reared on the farm, and prepared on the premises. Opening times will be :

Friday & Saturday 08.30-5pm

Sunday 08.30am -2pm

Online delivery and click and collect, offered during lockdown, are no longer available.

Townsend has also opened Teddy’s, serving food from 8.30am on Saturday and Sunday to eat in or takeaway. 01544 388527.

Moorcourt Fruit, Lyonshall, has started harvesting its strawberries and its shop is open from 8am to 6pm, also available from Ye Olde Steppes in Pembridge 9am -6pm. The Steppes also sells Pembridge made Heavenly Fudge. 01544388506.

On 7 th June Pembridge Pizzas will reopen, offering freshly made takeaway Pizzas on Friday and Saturday evenings. 5pm-8pm 07812 127156.

Cream Teas are on offer at St Mary’s Church, every Sunday, 3pm – 5pm and Bloom & Grind, Bridge Street offer delicious cakes, coffee, tea and flowers 7 days a week.

For in house dining: The Red Lion offer freshly cooked food Monday to Saturday from 12 noon, booking is advisable for their legendary Thursday Steak Night 01544 388007.

The New Inn open lunchtime and evenings, except Tuesday, offers 14 th century atmosphere and is renowned for its Roast Lunches 12-2pm and 6pm -9pm 01544 388427.
