Pembridge History Group

Following preliminary meetings, I am delighted to announce that the Pembridge History Group is being established. The purpose is to undertake historical research on all aspects of the parish of Pembridge, and to record, preserve,  publish, display the results and provide regular talks to the community.

We already have an enthusiastic group, some with professional skills and experience of historical research. The group is conscious of the work done by others in the past, and we are  keen to build upon their legacy and ensure that their work continues to be a resource for us all.

We will announce some of the projects as soon as they are underway. However, one way you can assist us is to provide us with material or indeed please join us!

Pubs and Cider Houses

Our first call is for  information, photographs, memorabilia, anecdotes or records about the Inns, Pubs and Cider Houses that were once found throughout the parish.
